01 Scope and Operator
This policy applies to services provided by HangZhou Caibo Network Technology Co., Ltd (“we”): the CollageX app, its accompanying asset services, and this website. We process information necessary for the specific features you use. Available features may vary by version, device, and region.
Please read this policy before use. For questions about personal information processing or to exercise your rights, you can use contact@caibo-inc.com to contact us.
02 Photos, Creations, and Local Processing
The photos, videos, audio, fonts, brushes, filters, and project files you select are used for importing, editing, previewing, saving, or exporting. Drafts, editing parameters, and related resources are stored locally on the device. The app may read metadata such as capture time and camera model from selected photos to provide features like photo information layout and device identification; this information may also be retained in files you export, so please check before sharing.
Regular collage, color adjustment, subject recognition, cutout, face analysis, and local retouching run on the device; using these local editing features does not send photos to online AI services. Apple Vision and the MediaPipe models provided with the app can locally analyze foreground, body regions, or facial feature points to enable selection and editing; we do not use these local analysis results for identity recognition, nor do we build a facial feature database on servers.
Local processing does not mean all data will never leave the device: when you actively enable cloud sync, submit feedback with attachments, share, or export to other services, the corresponding content will be transmitted according to your actions. Please only select content you have the right to process.
03 Online Services and Usage Information
When retrieving templates, stickers, backgrounds, fonts, filters, brushes, topics, and app configuration, the server receives information necessary for the request, including IP address, request time, request path, app identifier and version, system version, device brand and model, device language and region settings, and a random identifier used for request verification. This information is used for content transmission, version compatibility, language adaptation, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting; region settings are not equivalent to precise location.
After completing the app's first-use consent process, the asset service may record asset impressions, views, additions, search terms and result counts, download or export success/failure, resource identifiers, event random identifiers, time, language, region, and error codes, to understand asset usage and improve the service. Do not enter sensitive information such as ID numbers or passwords in the asset search box. These events do not include edited photos, complete works, or facial feature data.
iOS / Android versions that integrate Google Analytics for Firebase initialize analytics only after your valid acceptance of the agreements, to understand feature usage and improve the experience.
Google may process app installation identifiers, device and app information, sessions, page views, and export results, and infer an approximate location from network information. iOS also sends allowlisted events such as interactions with creative assets and download results.
We do not set a user ID for Google or send photos, file names, user-authored text, original search queries, or detailed error information. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are all disabled.
This website does not provide login, ad tracking, or marketing analytics scripts, and does not actively set analytics or advertising cookies. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, whose network infrastructure processes network information necessary to provide content, security protection, and troubleshooting. The website reads the language preference sent by the browser; when you manually switch the display language, it only saves a functional cookie named caibo_language to remember the language choice, valid for one year. Selecting "Follow browser" will delete this cookie. This cookie is not used for analytics or advertising tracking. The browser may still save page and image caches.
04 Device Permissions and Optional Features
We request relevant permissions through system mechanisms; you can deny non-essential permissions or adjust them in system settings. Denying a permission may make the corresponding feature unavailable, without affecting editing features that do not depend on that permission.

Canvas controls such as weather, location, and anniversaries use the content you enter; these controls themselves do not request real-time location or real-time weather.
05 iCloud Sync and External Sharing
iCloud syncing of fonts and works is an optional feature. When enabled, the corresponding font files, work snapshots, and their dependent resources are transferred to the Apple iCloud space you use and may sync to devices using the same account. Apple provides account and cloud storage services under its own privacy policy; we do not obtain your Apple account password.
Disabling syncing stops subsequent syncing but does not automatically delete existing content on your device or in iCloud. After an account change, the app will disable syncing, and you will need to re-enable it. Local deletion and cloud deletion do not necessarily propagate to each other; please separately check and manage the copies you need to remove.
When you actively share images, project packages, style links, or QR codes, the recipient may obtain the corresponding content and resources. Sharing completed through other apps, websites, or system services is subject to that service's privacy rules.
06 Feedback and Contact
When you submit feedback, we receive the text you enter, optional contact information, image or video attachments you actively select, and diagnostic information such as app version, system version, device model, language, and region, for the purpose of handling the issue and communicating with you. Attachments are uploaded to feedback storage and are not published as public materials. When you send an email, we receive your sender address and the email content.
Please avoid providing unnecessary ID documents, payment information, other people's private photos, or similar content in feedback attachments. You may contact us by email to request access to or deletion of the relevant feedback; please provide enough information to locate that feedback; we will verify the requester's identity only to the extent necessary.
07 Service Providers and Information Disclosure
We process and disclose information only within the scope of providing services, meeting legal obligations, or as you explicitly request; we do not sell your personal information, and we do not use edited photos for advertising profiling.
- Cloudflare: Provides the infrastructure for this website and some APIs, databases, and object storage, and may process network request information, usage events, and the feedback data you submit. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Apple: Provides the photo library, files, iCloud, app distribution, and possible purchase services you choose to use. See Apple Privacy Policy.
- Google（Firebase）: Provides the app analytics services described above. Related information may be processed outside your region. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Local algorithm components: Apple Vision and the in-app MediaPipe model are used for on-device image processing; using these local features by itself does not mean that photos are sent to the model provider.
Where required by law, by lawful regulatory requests, or where necessary to protect the safety of users and the service, we may disclose relevant information in accordance with the law. In the event of a business change that results in a change of the entity processing personal information, we will inform you in accordance with the law and require the recipient to continue to fulfill the corresponding protection obligations.
08 Retention, Security, and Cross-Border Processing
Local projects and resources are generally retained until you actively delete them, clear them, or uninstall the app; system backups, the recycle bin, work versions, and cloud copies may need to be handled separately. Please back up important works before uninstalling or clearing.
Online request records, usage events, and feedback are retained for the period necessary to provide the corresponding services, troubleshoot issues, and fulfill legal obligations; once the purposes are fulfilled and there are no other statutory retention requirements, we will delete or anonymize them. The specific retention period is determined based on the type of data, the processing purpose, and applicable law.
We adopt measures appropriate to the risk, such as access control, request verification, and restricted feedback storage, but no information system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal information security incident that may affect your rights and interests, we will take remedial measures in accordance with the law and fulfill our notification obligations.
Cloudflare's infrastructure may be distributed across multiple countries and regions, and the processing location for Apple iCloud is affected by your account region and the terms of service, so some online information may be processed outside your region. We will fulfill the necessary obligations involving cross-border processing in accordance with applicable law; where separate consent is required by law, it should be obtained separately, and this agreement alone should not be used as a substitute.
09 Your Rights and Choices
Within the scope provided by applicable law, you may request access to, a copy of, correction of, supplementation of, or deletion of the relevant personal information, restrict or object to the relevant processing, withdraw consent, and request an explanation of the processing rules.
- Manage drafts, works, personal resources, and cache in the app; manage permissions such as photos, camera, and local network in system settings.
- Turn off iCloud sync in the app, and manage cloud data and backups in the relevant Apple settings.
- You may use contact@caibo-inc.com to submit requests concerning server data or this policy. Please identify the feature, time, and information needed to locate the data, and avoid sending unrelated sensitive information.
We will verify and handle your request in accordance with the law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out based on valid consent before withdrawal; after some necessary processing stops, the corresponding online features may no longer be available. Basic local editing does not require creating an account on this website.
10 Protection of Minors
Minors should read and use the service under the guidance of a guardian. Where personal information of minors under the age of fourteen is involved, the guardian's consent should be obtained and applicable law should be complied with. If a guardian discovers that a minor has submitted personal information without proper authorization, they may, via contact@caibo-inc.com contact us to verify and handle it.
11 Policy Updates and Contact Us
If the features or information processing methods change, we will update this agreement and the update date. Where there are important changes involving the processing purpose, method, or types of information, we will inform you through appropriate means in accordance with the law, and obtain consent again when necessary.
